Saved me close to 50% off a dealership price for an air conditioner compressor replacement as well as a water pump replacement on another vehicle. Now working on my classic car. I would not consider another shop in the area. Tim, Jon, and Britany are a small team but all I need for my auto repair needs. -

I took my 2000 Honda Insight in for what I believed was a faulty switch. It was something far less expensive. If this was not a honest shop they could have taken advantage of me but they are honest and fixed my car extremely fast. I do my own brakes, oil changes, water pumps etc. So I haven't taken my car to a shop in over 10 years and had no idea where to go. So I took a chance on Tim's South Side Auto and wasn't disappointed. In the future when I have a problem above my pay grade I will go to Tim's again.

Tim just rocks! So difficult to find a trusted mechanic, and Tim's Repair is not out to repair things just for the money. They really care and are willing to do whats best for you, the customer. I am so thankful for this repair shop. Just had a clutch done, and he went the extra mile to complete it.

My daughter left for Minneapolis on a Sunday night when she encountered car troubles. Because we were taking our son to UW-RF registration Monday night, we gave her our vehicle. Tim got her vehicle in, diagnosed and repaired the vehicle so we could make the car swap on Monday and keep our schedule. YOU ARE A LIFE SAVER TIM!

I gave Tim a try after the previous owner sold. I said I needed front & rear brakes plus brake lines. He told called me and said that wasn't needed. Only a coupling and front brakes. Later my driveshaft cracked and he got it fixed before the weekend and worked with me supplying informaction to the insurance company to have a settlement in my favor. I have sent 3 people there without one bad experience.

I have been going to Tim since before he was even at South Side so that tells you I've been trusting him for a while. He always does the little things that make a difference like checking my tire depth and max pressure on the door.

Tim's straightforward, he's not expensive, his price is right, he tells me what needs to be fixed and gets it taken care of. He doesn't screw me with things that I don't need.

I can really trust Tim and that's most important. He notices everything and looks for things that even myself (a retired mechanic of 12 years) wouldn't think of. He does an excellent job.
